Acoustic Distinctions is seeking candidates for a full-time paid intern position in the field of architectural acoustics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn aspects of architectural acoustic design for a wide range of facilities, mechanical and electrical systems noise control, integration of acoustics with audio and video systems, sound isolation constructions, and environmental noise control. There will also be the opportunity to perform field acoustical testing, technical report writing, and data analysis on a variety of software. Position is open to all college students with an interest in acoustics, architecture, music, theater, building engineering, construction disciplines.
Prior experience in AutoCAD is required. The position will be located in our Stamford, CT office. Start and end dates flexible; 3 month minimum commitment required.
